The Tama PE1445 Peter Erskine Snare 14x4.5 Wild Spruce convinces with a hybrid shell made of spruce/maple and Remo skins. Each Tama PE1445 snare has a special sticker attached to the inside with an original signature from Peter Erskine. The world-renowned drummer signed each sticker himself. The shell construction consists of six layers of wood and is 6 mm thick. 
 
Four layers of spruce with two additional inner layers of maple are used. The Sound Focus Ring on the top is also made according to this principle. Remo Ambassador Coated/Hazy heads in combination with the eight tube lugs result in outstanding tuning stability. The inwardly curved Sound Arcs hoops with a thickness of 2.3 mm protect the drumsticks on the one hand and offer sensitive response and excellent control on the other. The hi-carbon snare carpet can be finely and balanced adjusted via the Linear Drive lift-off.
